Take another trip around the sun

It has been a year since I last posted, not that anyone really reads my blog. Interestingly enough, I re-applied to med school again, and hey - I made it this time!

I learned some valuable lessons in the whole process, the first of which is, if you do not try, then you definitely will not succeed. Last year I commented that just taking the chance was probably more important than actually succeeding, and I still feel that way, even though I made it in.

So where from here? I am so excited to get to help people directly rather than a group audience (as in public education). Now the trick is getting back into the student role, and dedicating copious amounts of time towards my studies... I would say this will be tough, but I am extremely motivated so that should help a bit.
